Mike's Wedding

Today I have been very ecstatic as I wear my new set of clothes and prep up for my team mates wedding. It was nice of Mike to invite me to go to his wedding knowing that I am just new in the team. I haven’t had the chance to make friends with him so it’s a surprise that he invites me to go. It’s been a while since I last attended a wedding. If I recall it right, I was still in grade school when I attended this wedding ceremony of my mom’s friend.

The wedding was held at Bella Ibarra which is located along Quezon Avenue in Quezon City. The team’s meeting place is at the office. Ayi and TL Joice brought their cars along with them to accompany most of us. I was with Ayi that time and somehow lead the way since I am familiar with the place (and we got lost.. haha). We still managed to get to the right venue by asking the patrolling guards in the street. The venue is at the second floor of the building. We took pictures of us wearing semi-formal attires. It is not everyday that we wear this clothes since we normally wear casual clothes at work. We were mesmerized by TL Joice as she wears a dress and it looked good to her. Same goes with the other girls. The guys are guys are wearing their normal formal attires, polo and slacks.

As we enter the venue itself, everything was purple and white. I immediately felt underdressed since most of the people around are wearing barong tagalog’s and the like. But I get a long still since some are wearing casual wears. The program started, the entourage walked in, and everyone was wowed by the bride as she enters. I felt all the chills in me oozing out as I witness this scene. Both of them looked stunning by the way they handle their selves. They looked happy yet nervous, hey who’s not going to be nervous with a big event as that. And so they exchanged their vows. We were all amazed as they say nothing but only sweet words to each other. And that concludes the program.

The overflowing food is waiting for us but since the line for the food is packed, we opted to enjoy the photo booth. It was fun doing the photo shoot with them. After we’re thru with the booth, finally we were able to take our chance to enjoy the sumptuous dishes they prepared for us. While eating, the couple made their way to the dance floor. You can even see the girls sigh as the couple swayed their body and exchange looks. Every one was just happy looking at the love birds.

And it all ended well. I really hope mike and his bride will make a perfect couple. Problems may get in the way but if love is with them, I know everything will be as easy as if they are just walking in the park.
